Justin Lui

Justin Lui

co-founder, Physiotherapist, MPT

Justin graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Master in Physical Therapy. He has a strong interest in human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, which began during his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and York University. In combination, Justin approaches musculoskeletal and neurological conditions uniquely – applying fundamental and advanced techniques of physiotherapy while prioritizing functional mobility and strength at the forefront of the rehabilitation process.

Justin integrates a wide range of assessment and treatment methods to maximize patient recovery including functional movement screenings to objectively identify movement deficiencies, electro-acupuncture and dry needling, myofascial release techniques, hands-on joint mobilizations, and customized exercise rehabilitation programs.

Justin has a special interest in spinal, shoulder and sport related injuries. He has participated in several sporting events as a physiotherapist including the YMCA under-17s national tennis tournament in Chennai, India in 2013, and the sailing competitions during the Toronto Pan Am Games in 2015.

In his free time, Justin enjoys travelling and staying active through weight training, snowboarding, hockey and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Boris Li

Co-founder, Physiotherapist, MPT

I’m Boris. My love for human function drives who I am and what I do. But just as each case is more than a simple joint or muscle injury, I look beyond to see the bigger picture of how physiotherapy fits into your life. I don’t just work to bring you the latest in physical rehabilitation techniques and tools: I strive to help each and every one of my patients achieve their optimal health. I believe that it’s hard work re-inventing yourself after injury, and that’s why I love the challenge; that when you push your limits, you make it possible for others to push theirs.

From getting you back to walking all the way to helping you shave 1 second off your personal best record, every stage of the healing and performance process is connected to my desire to help you achieve your goals. No matter what level of activity, age or injury, I can help you make a difference.

I have been in full time clinical practice as a Physiotherapist since 2014, working extensively with hundreds of individuals ranging from professional athletes to everyday people to overcome barriers, build resiliency and get them back on track with their life. If you are someone who seeks a thoughtful approach to physiotherapy, you have come to the right place. The techniques I use include: joint mobilization & manipulation, myofascial release, active release, medical acupuncture, dry needling, movement re-training, exercise prescription, strength & conditioning and tonnes of education.

In my past life, I was an elite level varsity badminton athlete. I underwent vigorous athletic conditioning and suffered minor to major injuries to the knee, lower back and neck. My lived experiences of the injury process combined with my extensive academic knowledge is what makes me so technical and empathetic of my client’s personal journey, and a major reason people continue to seek me out for guidance on rehabilitation, optimizing performance and minimizing re-injuries.
